On May 3, Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar in a river delta where over a million people lived. Estimates are 200,000+ dead! Since 2001 we have sent literature and courses to a pastor there, who also oversees a Bible school in Yangon. Graduates from the school often serve as missionaries to plant churches in unreached villages. Ten such churches are in the hardest hit area; 22 members' lives were lost. We have contact with four USA pastors who have visited him multiple times. All testify to his utmost honesty, wisdom, and integrity. A contact in California has regular transactions with Yangon; relief money we send to California is received in Yangon within two weeks. Relief help is desperately needed. The money is used for food, shelter, and rebuilding, and is delivered with Christian witness. 100% of aid you send to Chapel Library marked "Myanmar Relief" is forwarded regularly. Please make checks payable to Chapel Library and send by mail.
